One of the common questions our support team gets from our customer base is "Can I do anything to enhance my speed when accessing the PlayMaker CRM Mobile App?" It can be frustrating when your app is crawling and your co-worker's is flying.
Here are some tips that can help you have a more pleasant web experience.
1. Restart your phone - This sounds very cliche, but with all of the things that can happen with a phone, there's just too many variables to easily determine where an issue exists. One of the common solutions is to ensure nothing behind the scenes is interfering with your experience is a reboot, or "restart", which often helps address those unforeseen issues. Simply hold down the power button and choose to shut off your phone and then turn it back on.
2. Test your connection - Depending on where you are at the time and whether you're using your data plan or tethered to a wi-fi hotspot, there are several variables that can impact your connection speed. There are several apps that can test your connection speed for you. While PlayMaker doesn't endorse any specific app over another, a search on the app store of "speed test" (without the quotes) will direct you to some of the more popular free apps such as speedtest.
3. Ensure you're using the most updated app - When you access the app store, there's an option in the lower right corner called "updates".. ensure PlayMaker mobile isn't one of the apps waiting to be updated.
4. When all else fails, try uninstalling/reinstalling the app - With all the updates that continuously occur with any software, its possible that one update didn't install properly. When this happens, a degradation in performance can occur. If you are faced with a decision to uninstall, be sure that you have saved any work that's on the app prior to uninstalling by performing a sync, as uninstalling may cause you to lose that work.
